Meet The Owner
Paul Heley is the founder of AZ Stay + Play, a recreational business located near Roosevelt Lake in Tonto Basin, Arizona. With over a decade of experience in the watercraft industry, Heley offers jet ski, kayak, and paddleboard rentals, along with lakeside cabin accommodations. His business focuses on providing a peaceful, less crowded alternative to other Arizona lakes, offering both local and global visitors a unique desert adventure experience.
Previously an elementary school teacher, Heley transitioned to the recreation industry after purchasing property in the Tonto Basin. At age 50, he fully committed to his vision of creating a destination for outdoor fun. Heley’s goal is to make Roosevelt Lake a popular vacation spot, while also serving the local community. Paul continues to grow the business and enhance the Roosevelt Lake experience for all.
